WAHT about gd 2.0.28 and Gif support?

Hi, i saw that 07/21/04, gd 2.0.28 has been released with gif support enabled again (reading and creating). Since the beggining of the month, the Unisys licence for Gif usage is not necessary anymore. So maybe this question has already been asked, but I didn't find it (sorry), will next version PHP 5.0.1 use this new GD library and have gif support? Thanks ;-) Romain
