As I mentioned about a week ago, I'd like to roll 5.0.1 (mainly due to the auth bug) and some other fixes. I was thinking of rolling this minor release tomorrow or Tuesday. If you have any bug fixes you'd like to make in, please let me know. There's no problem with delaying it somewhat more... Andi

I'd like to see this patch http://tony2004.phpclub.net/dev/tmp/session.diff committed too. Here is the original patch proposal: http://lists.php.net/php.internals/11562 Sascha said he will take a look at it, but it seems he was too busy to do it. And what about typos in php.ini/mail.c? Looks like he commited it (a slightly different version of this patch)

We currently have a segfault in the xsl extension, when there's an error in the XSLT file. It doesn't disturb the day-to-day use (you're not supposed to have errors in XSLT files on live websites ;) ), but nevertheless nasty.. I'll try to fix it today. Posting this message, because I saw, that Andi prepared 5.0.1RC1 and I only realized the error now... What's the timeplan for 5.0.1Final then? chregu

I was hoping to release it tomorrow but if you can fix this in a reasonable time frame I can wait. In any case, we should go live in the near future unless new bugs are found which didn't exist in 5.0.0. Anyway, 5.0.1RC1 is up at http://snaps.php.net/~andi. Please check it out and make sure it works well (couldn't do a sanity build right now because I need to go to sleep). Edin, can you roll a Win32 package (tag php_5_0_1RC1)?
