Complaining or writing tests?

Hello folks,

i see at least two bigger comlain threads going on. But i don't see
anybody writing tests or offering additions to the upgrade info files
be it for version 5.2 or 6.0. So is comlaining so easy and writing php
so hard?

p.s.: I of course see a bunch of people working or actually trying to
make progress by finding out technical issues, you guys know who you
are but i just felt i have a need to complain too.

(Thx to Marcus for his offlist reminder).

This doesn't tell the average user how to submit standard .phpt test cases
for inclusion in the source - I guess they'd have to readup/join the php-qa
mailing list to find that out.
